Our Warranty

Hardscape Installation

We offer a 1-year warranty on all hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls, covering issues related to craftsmanship, such as settling or shifting of pavers due to installation errors. This warranty does not cover natural settling, wear and tear, or damages caused by external factors.
Materials used are subject to manufacturer warranties, and we are not responsible for defects or issues arising from materials

Plant Materials

Any plants, shrubs, or trees supplied and installed by Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. come with a 30-day warranty. This warranty covers replacement for any plant material that fails due to installation or initial quality issues. It does not cover damages from improper watering, lack of maintenance, pests, or extreme weather conditions.

New sod Installation

We provide a 30-day warranty on new sod installations, covering only the initial quality and installation of the sod. This warranty does not cover issues arising from improper watering, lack of maintenance, or extreme weather conditions.
The customer is responsible for providing adequate watering and proper care to support healthy growth and establishment of plants, turf, or landscaping elements after installation.

Exclusions

- Our warranties cover craftsmanship and initial quality issues as detailed for hardscape installations, plant materials, and sod installations. Warranty coverage requires that clients care and maintenance guidelines.

Extreme Weather Conditions: This includes floods, heavy snow, drought, frost, and other adverse weather events beyond our control.
Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations: Modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by anyone other than Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. will void the warranty.
Improper Maintenance or Neglect: Warranties require that clients follow recommended care guidelines. Issues arising from improper watering, lack of maintenance, or neglect will not be covered.
Normal Wear and Tear: Regular ageing, natural settling of the landscape, and ordinary wear and tear over time are not included under warranty.

Important

Any outstanding balance past 30 days will void warranties and guarantees.
Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser at the original project site.

Claiming Your Warranty

If you experience any issues covered under this warranty, please contact us as soon as possible. Our team will assess the situation and, if it falls under our warranty, we will make the necessary repairs or replacements at no additional cost.

Welcome to Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd!

By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before entering into any agreement or contract with us.

1. Scope of Work

Our quotations are carefully prepared based on the conditions observed during the initial property assessment. However, unforeseen circumstances or additional work outside the original scope may arise. In such cases, we will promptly inform you of any changes and provide an updated cost estimate for your approval before proceeding.

2. Permits and Approvals

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before the project begins. Any delays or additional costs resulting from permit issues will be the client’s responsibility.

3. Hand Digging and Excavation Policy

If hand digging or excavation uncovers large roots or rocks, additional costs may apply due to the extra time and labor required to remove them. We will inform you of any changes to the scope and provide an updated cost estimate before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

Clients are responsible for paying the quoted prices plus applicable GST, according to the payment schedule outlined in the quotation.

Payments are due upon receipt of the invoice.
For projects totaling $5,000 or less, full payment is required within 7 days of receiving the quotation.
Late payments will incur a 2% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance.
We accept payment via E-Transfer or Cheque, made payable to Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd.

5. Site Access and Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible and prepared for work. This includes the removal of personal items, obstructions, or any other items that may hinder the project’s progress. Any additional site preparation required beyond the initial scope will incur extra charges.
Free access to water and electricity must be provided for the duration of the project to facilitate our work.
Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. is not liable for any work or damages that fall outside the scope of the quoted project, as outlined in the quotation.

6. Turf and Plant Damage

While we take care to minimize disruption, some turf or plant damage may be unavoidable.

Damaged turf will be repaired through seeding. If sod replacement is required, it will be treated as an additional cost and billed to the client.
Clients are responsible for watering and maintaining repaired areas to ensure proper growth and recovery.
Any damaged plants will be replaced with a reasonable and available size that closely matches the original plant.

7. Weather-Related Delays

Weather conditions may affect the project timeline. In the event of adverse weather, we will notify you of any delays and reschedule the work accordingly. No penalties or liabilities will be incurred by Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. due to weather-related disruptions.

8. Waste and Cleanup Services

A general site cleanup is included in your project. Additional debris removal beyond the agreed scope will incur extra charges.
Disposal of certain materials, including drywall, paint/oil materials, metal, or electrical components, is not included in our standard waste removal services.
Pricing may vary based on location, weight, and type of materials being removed.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel your project after accepting a quotation, Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. requires at least 5 business days' notice before the work is scheduled to begin. Failure to provide this notice will result in the retention of the non-refundable deposit by the company.
If the client requests rescheduling, a new date may be offered based on our availability.

10. Photography Policy

By engaging our services, you permit us to take photographs of your property during and after the completion of your landscaping project. These photos may be used to showcase our work on our website, social media, and promotional materials. Rest assured, we will handle your property images respectfully and professionally.

11. Subcontractors

Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. reserves the right to hire subcontractors to perform specific tasks as part of the project. All subcontractors will adhere to the same standards of service and professionalism as our own team.
