Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd!

By confirming your project with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.


Scope of Work
  • Our quotations are based on the site conditions observed during the initial assessment. If unforeseen circumstances arise, requiring work beyond the original scope, we will inform you promptly and provide an updated cost estimate for approval before proceeding.

Permits and Approvals​
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before the project begins. Any delays or additional costs resulting from permit issues will be the client’s responsibility.

Hand Digging and Excavation
  • If hand digging or excavation uncovers large roots or rocks, additional costs may apply due to the extra time and labor required to remove them. We will inform you of any changes to the scope and provide an updated cost estimate before proceeding.​​

Site Access and Client Responsibilities
  • The client is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible and prepared for work. This includes the removal of personal items, obstructions, or any other items that may hinder the project’s progress. Any additional site preparation required beyond the initial scope will incur extra charges.

  • Free access to water and electricity must be provided for the duration of the project to facilitate our work.

  • Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd, is not liable for any work or damages that fall outside the scope of the quoted project, as outlined in the quotation.

Turf and Plant Damage ​
  • While we take care to minimize disruption, some turf or plant damage may be unavoidable.​​

  • Damaged turf will be repaired through seeding. If sod replacement is required, it will be treated as an additional cost and billed to the client.

  • Clients are responsible for watering and maintaining repaired areas to ensure proper growth and recovery.

  • Any damaged plants will be replaced with a reasonable and available size that closely matches the original plant.

Weather-Related Delays
  • Weather conditions may affect the project timeline. In the event of adverse weather, we will notify you of any delays and reschedule the work accordingly. No penalties or liabilities will be incurred by Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. due to weather-related disruptions.

Waste and Cleanup Service​s
  • A general site cleanup is included for debris resulting from our work. 

  • Any additional debris removal not related to our services will incur extra charges, If requested by the client.

  • Disposal of certain materials, including drywall, paint/oil materials, metal, or electrical components, is not included in our standard waste removal services.

  • Pricing may vary based on location, weight, and type of materials being removed.

Payment Terms
  • Clients are responsible for paying the quoted prices plus the applicable 5% Tax (GST) charge, following the payment schedule outlined in the provided quotation.

  • A 5% Tax (GST) charge will be applied to all quoted prices.

  • Overdue invoices will accrue a 2% monthly interest charge until full payment is made.

Cancellation and Rescheduling 
  • If you need to cancel your project after accepting a quotation, Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. requires at least 5 business days' notice before the work is scheduled to begin. Failure to provide this notice will result in the retention of the non-refundable deposit by the company.

  • If the client requests rescheduling, a new date may be offered based on our availability.

Scope Modifications
  • Any changes, additions, or modifications to the original scope of work must be submitted in writing and approved by both parties. Such changes may be subject to additional charges. Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. will not proceed with any work outside the agreed-upon quotation without prior written authorization. Verbal requests or informal discussions will not be considered valid or binding.

Project Communication 
  • All communication regarding the project should be done via email only to ensure proper documentation and avoid any missed details. You're always welcome to call or text if you have a quick question, but for any important updates, approvals, or decisions, we kindly ask that you follow up with a written email so everything is clearly documented and on record.

Photography
  • By hiring Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd., you grant permission for photos to be taken during and after the project for use on our website, social media, and promotional materials. All images will be handled professionally and respectfully.

Subcontractors

Cyrus Landscape Services Ltd. reserves the right to hire subcontractors to perform specific tasks as part of the project. All subcontractors will adhere to the same standards of service and professionalism as our own team.
